My quick blurb on it:
Money is not speech, but rather is a speech amplifier. Leave a bundle of money on someones porch anonymously and it will convey no information or message on its own. Add "speech", either verbal or via a note, and the same bundle will amplify it in proportion to how much is left. Calling money speech is like calling a bull horn or a power amp speech.
We have laws and ordinances preventing the use of volume amplifying equipment in every state in the US. Yet the supreme court just made it totally legal for massive corporations and special interest groups alike to bring their amplifiers onto the floor of congress. This will now legally rendering the smaller voices of "We the People" imperceptible over the noise. I for one, see nothing good coming from this ruling.
