As NWA would say.... F the police

Well as an ADULT here; I can only say that your attitude is child like and essentially one which glees in your thoughts of getting away with something; this I see as pathetic.
Pray all that you, nor any one associated with you ever needs the services of anyone specifically police, fire and rescue as cleary you are undeserving.
Myself, and this is child like also; I wish nothing but a pletherer of tickets at some point in your arrogant and underserved future......
Take charge and responsiblity;
I zipped past a police officer on the motorcycle the other week; clearly I knew I was busted for a couple of offenses - one being 70 mph in a 40 mph zone.....
Rather than the police officer pull out and chase me down; I pulled in front of the police car and removed my helmet, gloves and so forth, the officer sat in his car until I was ready
(At no point did I actually tell the officer why I stopped)
Upon appearing at my side his first words were, 'First, I'd like to thank you so much for stopping'
After a brief chat he vanished to his car and made some calls; essentially to validate my expired registration paperwork
Upon return he ticketed me for failure to provide documentation as he verified I was registered and said he'd forego the speeding, despite him clocking me at 70 mph
No registration documentation = $180 no points
30 over the speed limit = mandatory court date in NJ and a stiff load of points; even with a good court date I was getting 4 points if ticketed; I know this from my last ticket, NJ wouldn't shift on the points.
The policeman was very polite and never baraded me about my obvious discount of the posted speed limit.
I paid the $180 as after all in my opinion I was guilty and he did me a huge favor.
FYI - Ignorance is no defense in the eyes of the law; regardless.
If someone tells you something is legal that counts for nothing - it is your responsibility to learn the law where ever you are.
Cheers
