I'm thinking of replacing my current cell phone.
I've been with Sprint all along - since I got my first phone my Freshman year of HS, and then when I was a Sprint rep when I worked in a Best Buy store in HS... needless to say, I am not at all interested in changing providers.
I like the iPhone... sort of. As an Apple Tech and Apple fanboy, I have had a good amount of experience with them, but since it's not CDMA, no chance in hell Sprint will ever get it.
I currently have a Moto Razr V3M+GPS. I really like it - it has some quirks, but I deal with them. After 2 recent botched over the air software upgrades and 1.75 years of use, it has become demon possessed. Random vibrations, ring tones that change themselves, ringing loudly even when on silent, random freezes, screen artifacting - it is on its way out... and using it can be an adventure. It's only been dropped 2 times since I have had it, both of them onto a tile floor - it lives a relatively coddled life. A factory software restore doesn't solve the problems - so I surmise it is partially hardware - especially because of the artifacting (and I am using this as an excuse to get a new phone).
I'm having a hard time deciding between the HTC Touch and the Blackberry Curve. I don't know how living without tactile input would go on the Touch, but I really hate the trackball on the Blackberry. I do use my phone for email quite a bit, but I also like to browse the web... so that's a wash. I love to tinker and customize, so I think Windows Mobile wins there.
Does anyone here have experience with the HTC Touch - good or bad?
What about the Blackberry Curve? I have quite a few of them in use at work, so I know the basic caveats of it, but in everyday life is it a good choice?
