My opinion...stay away from any air fresheners! When I was younger I didn't think about such things, yet now I feel differently.
Can any one guarantee that there are no carcinogenic properties in any of these chemical laden air fresheners? The people that make and sell them don't know or don't care. If the inks and aromatics come from from the far east then no one knows their properties anyway. The high temperatures created within a parked car would also not help conditions, so that's how I see it...

Other than that,... I wonder if the CA plate comes with the "may cause cancer" clause

Its an interesting custom product. If you don't fear litigation it could be SWAG. (free giveaways for promotional advertising)
