Neil Young-Auto Engineer?

I commend my long-time personal hero Neil Young for his collaborative engineering efforts aimed at producing alternative engines/platforms for autos and trucks. (Lincoln Continental)
Neil Young’s Linc-Volt Hybrid | Hybrid Cars

He has been doing interviews (Charlie Rose) promoting the July 25 movie release of "CSNY: Deja Vu".

He has a genuine interest in making gas stations obsolete!

Some of my Neil Young Highlights:
-Harvest album
-4 Way Street album
-Rust Never Sleeps tour
-Stills Young Band
-CSNY2K tour
-Let's Roll song
-Freedom of Speech tour

Neil likes to work in a number of fields other than music. He is/was very active in my other hobby ...model trains and still owns a part of Lionel Trains. He helped develop a model train control system that handicapped persons could use. This was to help his son and many other enjoy the hobby. My brush with fame was meeting Mr. Young at the RCHTA trade show in the late 90's. He was at the hobby trade show helping show his then new control system. A very nice guy..and smart on many levels. I have read some about his new project...he has picked a big hill to climb...I wish him luck!

Vote Obama/Young

Neil Young seems to be in a good place-obviously affected by personal challenges like a brain aneurism. He speaks of the importance of his gifts and being receptive to its source (the spiritual).

His musical performances have always been tremendous. I admire his youthful abilities (touring with Pearljam)-
Not surprising he endorses Obama

Lyrics to "On the Way Home"
When the dream came, I held my breath with my eyes closed
I went insane, like a smoke-filled day when the wind blows
Now I won't be back till later on, if I do come back at all
But you know me, and I miss you now
In a strange game, I saw myself as you knew me
And the change came and you had a chance to see through me
Though the other side is just the same, you can tell my dream is real
Because I love you
Can you feel it now?
Though we rush ahead to save our time, we are only what we feel
Can you feel it now?

It was foolish to test the waters with a Canadian Veep candidate

Zuma has many great songs
-Cortez the Killer
-Danger Bird
-Stupid Girl
The Trans album cover seems to have a Lincoln Continental and the Twin Towers

I often yearn for the days when Y2K was our biggest worry!

Neil Young: brilliant & my absolute all time favorite. Hands down. Bridge benefit concert is just around the corner & always one of the highlights of my year. Yippee!

Many, many years ago, had a fling with one of his employees who gave me a private tour of Neil's car collection in a hanger sized warehouse... the man owned some cars!
