Night timelapse video....

I was playing with my video camera taking night footage in timelapse. The footage came out so cool, I edited it into a video...

I took a night timelapse while driving the Aveo, it should be posted in my next smartLife Vlog and Forza Motor Reviews...

I now know how to make good quality time lapses and night movies. As you'll see in my timelapse the camcorder thought it was daylight and constantly attempted to refocus, then the lighting was really low.

Setting the camcorder to "Night" and focus to "Manual" solved that.

Are the high ones clouds and the low ones smog? It's a good thing KLATTU didn't see you while you were out there taping. Really though, it does look good.

Not smog, just a different type of cloud at a different elevation.

Of interest is that fact that different layers of air may travel in different directions.

On the nights I'm not working, it's been nothing but overcast skys. I want to take some star shots, where you see the movement of the stars.... I'm going to have to wait a while before I get an open sky.
