Port-au-Prince Earth Quake

I worked late today. Just now hearing about the major quake in Haiti.

My sympathy to the victims.

Nice that it's a sticky. Sad that only a dozen have viewed it in more than two hours.

Early estimates are 100,000 deaths. Port-au-Prince is a city of 2 million.

Must have been a terrible night for Haitians!

TBO.com - News From AP

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) -- Dazed and injured Haitians sat on darkened streets pleading for help Wednesday and untold numbers were trapped in tons of rubble brought down by the strongest earthquake to hit this poor Caribbean nation in more than 200 years.

The extent of destruction from Tuesday afternoon's 7.0-magnitude tremor was far from clear - and estimating the number of casualties was impossible, save for the dead lying among thousands of collapsed buildings in Haiti's capital.

OMG - total devastation. The airport control tower collapsed, so no relief can get in.

Social networks seem to be the main way of getting info out of Haiti. Obama on the news now.
