Back when Cat Stevens was someone I enjoyed listening to.....

Now he's become the capitalist sellout, he so much despised, with his "T-Mobile" commercials.......go figure.

I love Cat Stevens -now, then, whenever. He's an amazing talent and not (by far) the first or only person to capitalize on one's talent. I don't judge.

next...

Panda - we are all sorry for you flunking the oral exam, get ove it... kay?

and now, this -

one more thing -

There should be an award . . .

There should be a "special" award . . . for the person who hired the "forger". Dah!

"A 27-year-old man serving six years for stealing Ł6.5million using forged credit cards over the internet was recruited to help write code needed for the installation of an internal prison TV station. He was left unguarded with unfettered access to the system and produced results that anyone but prison officials could have guessed. He installed a series of passwords on all the machines, shutting down the entire prison computer system. A prison source said, 'It's unbelievable that a criminal convicted of cyber-crime was allowed uncontrolled access to the hard drive. He set up such an elaborate array of passwords it took a specialist company to get it working.'"

Ummmmmmm, . . . . and I think he changed his name twice, ((born Steven Demetre Georgiou, ) and converted to the Islamic religion (long before the Iraq war in '78 - named Yusuf Islam.) Maybe he needs some $$$ for his retirement years. I always liked him - a rare ability - folk songs. Can't be an easy life in the music business. He is the founder and chairman of the Small Kindness charity, which initially assisted famine victims in Africa and now supports thousands of orphans and families in the Balkans, Indonesia, and Iraq.

Is this thread "still random thoughts", . . . . or do we have to stay on the subject of Big Panda's dental surgery?.
