I didn't get into computers till waaayyy later - 1977 I was a computer operator for a geophysical company in Denver - trying to get oil from shale in Colorado. Yes, we had all the latest high tech equipment: teletypes, punch cards, paper tape, 9-track tapes and the refrigerator-sized Raytheon's to process it all. Ahh... those were the days.


what's that? ...um, ... pics? well... no, no.... I don't have pics..... oh? you don't believe me? ...you say I seem way too young to have worked with computers so long ago?? ... ...ahh .....

Hard to believe, but we used to process radar data for air traffic control with a 20' long rack of Sperry Univac and banks of disk pack drives! Not to mention the hard wired back planes!!

Hello, my name is Big Panda and I'm a ....a......a.......smart car abuser! Yes, there I said it. I'm shamed to admit it, but I haven't washed Lil Panda for over a MONTH!

Poor little guy looks like he's been through Hell and back, or at least Jetfuels garage......very sad.

Tomorrow is a new day and with that new day comes the promise of a COMPLETE DETAIL FROM HEAD TO TAIL LIGHT!

Accepting anything from anyone (no offense Chris) through the mail IS a bit dangerous nowadays.

Just make sure you have the 'hair' fumagated for lice and other critters as well as getting it vaccinated for H1N1 and you should be good to go.

My daughter is an ATC in Palmdale and I'm sure SHE has NO IDEA what you're talking about.

Now her Mom is another story....she's worked for the FAA since '84. She's old AND she's Old School too!
