We went to the auction today too forest. We went AFTER the car show so we got there late. Looked around and the only thing I saw I wanted was a sandblaster like one I used to have. Didn't feel like waiting around for it since I was on edge.

As I was getting ready to leave the show my dad was driving the street rod and I was in the Corvette. So he tell me the battery died in the rod. No problem, got set of jumper cables and we'll jump it with the Vette which is right next to it. I go to pop the hood and the hood release cable breaks. Got everything going and then on the way back the Vette dies at a light. I was sweating it as I know the fuel filter was getting clogged despite me just putting a new filter in about 200 miles ago - there is a lot of rust in the tank. Got the car started and pressed on to the auction but was on edge worried the cars wouldn't start. Should of drove the smarts.

for the smart. After waiting for well over 2 Hours with them selling all the old antique tools one at a time for about $1 each I bid a dollar on a pair of plastic patio chairs just so I could sit down. It was a beautiful fall day on a beautiful little remote farm that had been cared for so well by the dead guy. Hey actions exist to settle estates

When the trailer finally came up I stopped bidding at about $175 and it went up to $225. Bummer.

I would up coming home with a bunch of wooden fence posts, a pile of T posts for about $5, some feeders, Woven wire fence and a Gate. Total for my full pick up load was under $65

You could have picked up an antique tractor for about $300, no one was bidding. Apparently it wasn't the right color for those that attended

NCC - those classic LCD watches sell for good $$ now. I found out an odd way. Several years back I bought a flat of about 30 watches at an auction and a LCD Timex was among them. Brand new in the original box. I put a new battery in it and it worked great. Put it on eBay and it sold for some very nice $$. The old LCD's aren't me. Now Mickey Mouse on the other hand........

and jet. I might have some "replica" Omega Speedmaster's.

I never had one, although I did have a few cheaper LED watches.

I would think the LED watches, like the nice Pulsar, would be worth even more, depending on condition. I mean, they still make LCD watches.

I stand corrected! Mixed them up! LED NOT LCD! The nice bright red numbers like your old calculator.

Yeah, but I'm the guy everyone comes to. When my cars all break down at once most likely something VERY bad is about to happen as the stars are out of alignment too.

be verrwwy quiet...I'm hanging out over at the Yaris forms right now instead of here.

I haven't posted yet. I am going to try to get all the paperwork squared away to trade off the pink car to my kid so I get the Yaris. Starting to think about personalizing it despite the dents it already has even though it is 8 months old.

This sucks I still can't get this watch sold and it's been over a day now. I'm talking about the one I mentioned earlier in the thread. It's a SAR (search and rescue watch) not for sale to the general public so it's unique and was expensive. I've had one "buyer" back out before sending the money and one guy who wanted to trade a Hamilton with Valjoux 7750 movement. I had to tell him hold on till see if the first guy came through who bailed on me. Then I emailed him and he had traded it already so I missed a opportunity because of some numb nuts who wasn't serious. I've since been low balled by some guy who wanted to give me 350 for it and this is for a watch that ships for 600 bucks and has some rarity. I hope I get rid of it quickly because I did a stupid. I ordered a Seiko "Orange Monster" which is cheaper watch with plans that sale would pay for it and rest go back to credit card. I know I'm rambling about some crazy watch stuff but how much more random can you get.
