I've got a book which I purchased new, in 1968, titled "Toward the Year 2018". It attempts to look a half century into the future. 2018 is getting closer, guess I'll have to read the book again and see how far off they were.

My mom has who I believe is a "illegal alien" who comes and does the yard work. He can't speak hardly any english and works really ridiculously cheap which reinforces my belief he's illegal. I've told my mom to watch out as it's against the law.

About the same here, but we expected it. It was 66 yesterday and the weatherman (you know, our Indy version of Jeffrios) said we would hit 70 today.

I had to put on shorts to rake the leaves......sorry, no pics but trust me, you'd thank me for it!

We had a solid week of great weather here, with highs in the low to mid 70s.
But, the temperatures have been creeping up, with highs today through Tuesday above 75°. On the positive side, cold front and late season Hurricane Ida coming! 60% chance of rain the next two days (that's Ida) and then another cool down with lows 47-52 and highs in the low 70s for the balance of the week. In this part of the country, we've entered the best quarter of the year! It's actually cool enough most of the time to not use air conditioning.
