Gene Hackman's death scene in The Poseidon Adventure was pretty good!

THAT'S a strange 'random thought'. Think about death scenes much?

How long has it been since you tried to FIND a pay phone? Better yet, a pay phone in operating condition?

I haven't tried in years myself. They were almost non-existent THEN. Do they even exist at all now?

Random is what it's all about..... so, yeah, well I was watching Poseidon Adventure this afternoon and it really is very good. I'm not a big Hackman fan, and I thought most of his scenes in this movie sucked, but he died really well. And Ernest Borgnine - I love that man.

o... Panda, should we start a "Random Death Scenes" thread?

Which Poseidon movie do you like better?

I like that massive CGI work they did in the new one...

But then again, the old one's cool too...

Hard choice...

I just used a payphone recently, I haven't caught on to the cellphone generation either. I deactivated my phone because I never use it but once a month so I saw no need in paying the $45 a month to CricKet...

Neon...cellphone free...strongly dislikes driving texters...

I understand what you're saying, but to give up your cell all together? Just go with a prepaid plan. If nothing else, it's a good idea to have one for use in an emergency, such as the GMC running out of gas, miles from a gas station, at night, in an alley behind an abandoned warehouse.

Hey, what were you DOING there in the first place? I thought you were a good kid!
