I've never really NEEDED a cell phone either. I feel that they're just useless as I don't call people when I'm on the road anyway. And when I'm not on the road I'm somewhere that has a phone!

I rarely make calls on my cell phone. I have a smart phone since I like the PDA features. Instead of having a PDA and a cell phone, I have just the cell phone to carry with me. I have it mostly for emergencies. It is nice to have just in case I need it.

I have one for my Dad. He usually keeps it off.

There are some videos at Smart USA Insider.
They are very informative but no commercials.

I think you've stumbled upon something. Looks like you've found a way to drive AND talk on your cell, safely. But since you're not actually IN the car, you won't get anywhere.......

Typical. I wanted a storm and got squat. They promised me at least a couple inches, I got less than 1/2" ... they suggested I might get sustained winds of 30-40 ... I had a couple brief periods where it might have reached 25.

You left the state and get a deluge.

Looking at the radar just now, it looks like you're out of all but a bit of light rain for now.
