Spent the day at a car swap meet. TONS of cars for sale. Didn't make the entire show field. Saw a TRUE #1 Bugeye Sprite for ONLY $25,000! It was absolutely perfect though. Not any microcars - not even an original Mini. I did only get to see half of the show area......only about 1,000 cars for sale....missed the other 1,000.

Made the entire swap meet area but that was trucking through at a good pace. I DID pick up some purple paint....cough cough....hint hint. I also may go back tomorrow and pick up more paint since there was a color similar to my Yaris and I want to trim out the interior. That's only IF he doesn't have green. Got lots of other interesting stuff....gear reduction starter for the street rod.

They even had motorcycle camping trailers.....and regular motorcycle cargo trailers. A bit pricey for me. Cheapest was $1500....I won't say what was the most expensive.

Came back early to the motorhome to fix the furnace. I froze my raisins off last night. Kermit was going to come up with us but my sister borrowed the utility trailer the I use to tow him. At least they have wireless here.

Were you at the swap meet in Moultrie, Ga? I missed it this year, but saw a friend at a cruise-in tonight that was there earlier today. He said there were some good deals there.

Still there or here. We normally come up on Thursday or Friday and stay until Sunday camping in the motor home. This time we couldn't leave until Friday afternoon so we rolled in the evening time. Really roughing it here too, TV broke. This thing sits so much it is becoming an electrical nightmare, at first the jacks didn't work, then the slides were INOP, then the furnace. The campground king fixed it all....ouch, my arm hurt - not meant to swing around to pat my back like that.

Still more deals tomorrow. A lot or vendors were still proud of their items, a rainy Sunday day may most likely change their tune. Little profit or no profit and sitting on their stuff to load back up. Most of the time they choose little profit.

A few cars disgusted me. A bit of a detailing and the seller could of turned the car much quicker. Quite a few caught my eye. All well beyond my price range. Next year I'll be buying up a bunch of stuff to restore our 64 1/2 Mustang. We just lack a few items and sheetmetal (time to learn to weld properly) plus I'm debating what tires to put on it. Considering doing a 4 month restoration then trading or selling Feb. 2011 meet. Trying to figure out how modified we want it too. I want to say it was first month of production.

Family saw Santa today, He was in town for only one day.

No Hand sanitiser for this crew. H1N1 Clinic canceled in town this week. Good chance a lot of kids will be sick next week in this towns school.

Good thing it will be a short week.

I saw a blurb on tv the other day where Santas were asking to be made a priority group for h1n1 vaccine on account of their association with lots of tiny tots. (with their eyes all aglow)
