Nope, I do not like it at all.

To me its the equivelant of a member somming on and flooding the site with their rant.

I sort of see your point... though I completely disagree with it... I don't think it's that deep of an issue.

Yes, I DO.....but I say let them activate it. If someone does what you say, it will just be more work for the moderators to have to step in and 'moderate'.

I was responding to when you had the two smart pic sig on the bottom and you were having a conversation back and forth with BBB.

Every other post had the same Pic.

And now that I see when you change your sig it is wiped off the site I have even more issues.

Someone could use it to include an inflammatory Signature as part of a post, but when a Moderator comes by after a complaint, the evidence is wiped clean.

Here is an example for you. I have a lot of posts on this site. If they all carried my Signature I could suddenly SPam the entire site and almost every thread with one click. I would proclaim to the world that this site is a commie plot and run by the Chinese because the Moderators Censor everything. And 5 Min later wipe all evidence of my full site rant.


Also, Those of us with less than speedy Internet access are already suffering with slow page loads because of all the fancy banner adds.
In the evenings on the weekdays satellite is dog slow because all the kids are updating their facebook status.

Some of you can post and respond 3 times in the time it takes me to load once. I Am also living under a "Fair access policy" Internet. If I Exceed my daily download my Internet will shut me down for the day. And that really sucks

OMG.....write this down somewhere, on a calendar, daytimer...SOMEWHERE.

I AGREE WITH FOREST....COMPLETELY.

I had never thought of it that way but when you DO 'quote' a post, it's not including the "sig".

Now if there WAS a way to include it on every 'quote' and to limit the "sig" to only a certain number of spaces with no pics, then 'maybe' I would reconsider.

I was all in favor of "sigs" but the sock monkey has a very valid point.

You know what is a thorn in my side? Embedded videos. A total PITA!! I have a slow connection like Forest.

Guys... if you noticed I was the only one with HTML... it's something we can turn on and off... and yes, there would be a character limit.

If you see and inflamatory sig line, cut and paste it to the post report.

It is my understanding this is most likely going to be a perk for supporting members, therefore unless we get a Troll as a supporting member; I don't see an offensive sig line being an issue.
