My son sent me this photo of a very cool paint job on a Smart Car. I wish I knew the story behind it....

Even better is James Mason in Lolita.

VW, obviously, since they own the Bugatti marque and built the Veyron.
It does look like a VW W12, it didn't hit me that VW owns it until I re-watched the episode. What a great gas guzzling
car that is!

Neon, you're a trip.

Computers were used to communicate via modems before the internet came to be. Even Usenet, which you may be familiar with, pre-dates the internet and isn't technically part of it. Then, there were bulletin board systems (BBSs).

"Wifi on that disabled ship in the Bermuda Triangle" .... huh?

The internet wasn't the first means of mass communications. Anyway, it certainly is useful. But, to say the internet drives the development of PCs is a bit (I think) bass ackwards.

Since you seem to be one of the people I was referring to, I see no point in arguing my main point. Until the early to mid 90s, it was primarily universities and government agencies which used the rudimentary technology. And yet, amazingly, millions of PCs were sold. What the heck did all those people do with their PCs without being online. How droll, LOL

Did you know that VW/Bugatti built the Veyron initially as an engineering concept, just to see if it was possible?

And that every one they build they sell at a loss?

Just a bike wrapped on a smart, no story to it.

Hmmm...What would I do without the net?

Microsoft Train Simulator 2009

Microsoft Flight Simulator X

Microsoft Ship Simulator 2008

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PC)

Nevermind, I'd be occupied.

Yes I do. (about the loss)

It's a great loss for a great car, they engineered it well...

For some reason I could not retain the information I learned about Bugatti other than the Veyron itself...

Time to study my cars more!

Neon...can't wait for the smart 451 mod for GTA: SA...
