I'm 80 miles WEST of PC.......plus 8 miles south of the Alabama state line. STILL in Florida.....and proud of it. Just proud of the location, not the locals. I'm a local too, family has been here for 150+ years BUT there is a difference between my family and the other families in the area. We keep marrying outside the family.

BTW - another one of those "states"......Guam.

I remember what folks did before the INTERNET with all those PC's. They watched Flying toasters on there screen.




I had the rare Bloom County screen saver with Opus the Penguin shooting down toasters, until after dark sued them and they had to remove it from the market.

I love this movie. One of my favorites. BUT ...
#1 the asteroid would only be visible in the sky for a second, not a minute.
#2 anyone unfortunate enough to witness the entry wouldn't have to worry about tsunami, they'd be crispy fried before that by radiant heat.

Still, several orders of magnitude better than its contemporary, "Armageddon".

I don't see the point in the New Yorkers running down the street, the wave is going over 100mph while their stubby legs are only getting them 10-15mph.

Those Virginia Beach folks had a better chance, Lucky dirt bikes...
