I have tried the "go to bed early, and get up early" idea.
The usual result is that I go to bed early and sleep longer, waking up at my usual time.

Similar idea at work, NCC1701: make up for showing up late by leaving early.

How did you cut it without your "pizza cutters".

How is it that talk of politics and religion is prohibited here, yet sports talk is not?

Why is it that when the weather is least agreeable with yard work, plants are in their most active growth? When it's nice outside, things go dormant?

If you're having a bad day, and someone asks you how you're doing ... are you obligated to lie? I've had people get clearly annoyed with me when I was truthful. Why ask then?

Why do they put sodium chloride (table salt) in shampoo?

Speaking of salt ... do aficionados of sea salt not realize it is sodium chloride with only negligible trace elements, and that it lacks iodide (a necessary nutrient)? The taste is identical, although it's tactually different, that hardly makes any difference in most uses. And, incidently, the rock salt used to produce most table salt originated from seas, long ago.

I don't own a salt shaker.

Random thoughts.

I LOVE salt! I have lots of different kinds in dozens of shakers - all for different purposes. They do taste different. My fave is Murray River salt from Australia. It's (guess) pink in color and is a great finishing salt. Australian Murray River Salt Flakes by Salt Traders, LLC

If you ever get the chance to go to a salt tasting - DO! It's amazing how different they all are!

At the end of the day I crave a salty snack and an icy adult beverage. Yep!
