It seems like the fire is fading this site. I remember when it was fun to sit here for hours and now not so much. I've been too busy at work as they're purposely giving us no time between calls now (overworking us) so my time to surf well is gone. I come home dead and last thing I think about is the site. It just seems from my peeping here and there as I can we've lost many main people. I may just be nostalgic but a year ago at this time things seems to be more lively.
P.S. Just signed up for 3 more years SOCA club membership so not going anywhere.

Fred... While I would agree that the shiny gleam has somewhat worn off, I think it's to be somewhat expected with the declining sales for smart. Also, I agree that alot of us have had work changes which have cut our time here significantly.
That being said, of the member loses you list, 2 traded in their smart for practical purposes and a third stated he was leaving to concentrate on quiting smoking(fantastic reason!!

). Many of us are still trying to figure out what BP's real issue for leaving was... repeated requests from multiple people when unanswered. He insinuated that it had to do with the sale of the site but never once clarified his actual issues. Love the guy to death but we can't help if we don't know what's wrong....
While the sale of the site caught everyone off guard(including the mods), To my knowledge there have been no real downsides and quite a few positives so far... time will tell but so far the new owners have been receptive to requests and have made changes where it made since to do so.
Not knitpicking... just wanting all the facts in play. Like I said, I agree that we've hit a plateau but this is still the dominant site for our community of owners.
