Single Speed/ Fixed Gear Road Bike

I am in the market for a fixed gear or single speed road bike. I think I would enjoy the single speed not as a fixed but was wandering what everyone's opinions are.

Are there any road bike riders in here? Does anyone know of a good online forum for such bikes?

it's called a track bike. try googling "track bike".
also search "velodromes"
that is unless you mean a bike like a beach cruiser.....
if thats what you are looking for then bliss is as close as your nearest wal-mart. strike wal-mart, i mean bike shop.....
my "road bike" is a full campagnolo eguipped, mid 1960's mercier.
however i still have the 26" baloon tire, single speed coaster brake columbia i threw newspapers on when i was a kid.
