Smart Car gun owners?

I was just curious how many Smart Car owners own guns. I have a mix of military/evil guns and hunting rifles.

My parents were Okies (dad was from Beggs, mom was from Slick). Of course we have guns. Legend has it that grandpa's old .22 pump is what kept the family alive during the great depression. That old rifle shot so many .22 shorts that the rifling is completely worn smooth. It provided many pots of squirrel stew.

I have a mix of dad/grandpa guns and some of my own military/evil guns.

I don't own a Smart Car yet, the bad economy has really put a crimp on my spending. However wait long enough and things change; so this is not forever.

As for guns, the following video say it all:

The 357 revolver is great, but for a day of shooting, I love my Ruger 10/22.

This thread has been done before.....before it got locked. Hmmm, someone do a controversial thread to spark debate?

I'll remain neutral on that. Won't say whether or not I own a gun, you'll have to try to sneak into the house and see what happens. I skin you alive after I take you down with my cat like speed and ninja fighting skills or I simply shoot you.

My job does require me to remain proficient on a variety of firearms. Do I carry? maybe...maybe not. You might as well ask how much money I make a year and when I lost my virginity too.

Oklahoma Sheriffs serve "no knock" warrants here regularly. Coincidentally you regularly see where Sheriffs are shot and killed as they enter a mans home. This outcome is sad and unnecessary. I'm not guilty of any crimes but if I hear the front door get kicked off it's hinges in the middle of the night...regardless of what the intruders are yelling...someone will die. I prefer a weapon for home defense that will shoot through doors, walls and cabinetry.

Sure, but it's my wife that usually wins the prizes at the turkey shoots. (For those unfamiliar with them, turkey shoots are usually fundraisers and the target is paper, not a real turkey.)

I can't tell you how many odd looks I get when I'm travelling with my Remington Model 700 laying down on the folded down passenger seat. I guess they all prejudge me as some liberal who thinks meat materializes in the back room of a grocery store.

Concealed carry

I have a concealed carry permit and own many guns of various types. I regularly carry concealed in my smart. You gotta be prepared for the worst these days.

I also keep a loaded weapon near the bed when sleeping. If someone breaks-in during the night you don't have time to get up and call the cops, and too, it takes time for them to get to the scene. I do all I can to insure that I survive; you can't allow the bad guys to win.

I don't actually own any guns, but I definitely go to the range and fire their handguns when I can. Jackson Arms near SFO is a really nice place with an emphasis on safety, good service, and top rate facilities. So far I'm winning the war against paper.
