Stargate Universe

I saw it on Friday but couldn't post here cause section was closed. I've watched it three times now (whole 2 hours). It looks like they shot it all Battllestar Galatically with the funky panning cameras and all but I'll get used to it. It looks like it's going to be a interesting series. Now where's the new Doctor Who shows.

Thank You Fpage! I said the same thing to my wife! I figured it has to be the same producer/camera crew as Battlestar Crapica. Not Stargate at all as far as the way the camera moves and how they jump from each scene. Also I noticed they used the term "FTL". I could of SWORN that was used in Battlestar Crapica and not Stargate.

Still, a story has to be told so episode one covered the story. Good they got that part out of the way because it was borrring.

Friday they'll be starting the new Sanctuary.

I'm still waiting for the new Doctor Who and Torchwood. Pretty peeved that Primeval got canceled. I hope Sci-Fi somehow picks it up.

Nope, just waiting..........

Children of Earth was the last mini-series and was kind of considered a "Season three" wrapped up in five episodes.

Fpage - have you been a Stargate fan since "the beginning". (even the movie?) I've been a huge fan since the get-go.

Saw the movie but didn't really start watching the first Stargate TV show until it was on SyFy/Sci-Fi.

Well that makes 3 of us at least.
It's not just the funky camera work but the tone is very dark and hectic too, just like Battlestar Galactica. It made Battlestar very hard to watch. The original Stargate had it's light comedic moments too. I hope they don't stray too far from the original formula.
