Visit the Kuroshio Sea Tank

Video of the Kuroshio Sea Tank at the Churaumi Aquarium, Okinawa, Japan by Jon Rawlinson.

The main tank at the Aquarium is called the Kuroshio Sea and holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water. It features the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.

Be sure to watch in HD with Full Screen and your speakers turned up.

It is stated as 'the fish tank that's so big it can hold FOUR whale sharks'.

I wonder how they transported the whale shark to the aquarium.

Optical Illusion

They used small people in these pictures in order to make the fish look bigger. It is a tactic that Jet Fuel has been using recently in order to enhance his perceived stature.

I first heard of transparent aluminum on a Star Trek movie. Now they are using it as windows for tanks since it is as strong as steel but one can see through it.
