Wow, where'd the car come to a rest? Looks elevated, on top of the other cars in that parking lot looks like! Don't know what her problem was (cell phone?) but, they were lucky if unscathed.

Read some of the comments on streetfire.net. The video is from a bus, and several of the commenters recall the footage (apparently from local TV) in Kansas City. They mention mechanical steering failure.

This bus steering failure footage is used to help sell the video system this video came from. The system records "events" and uploads them through cellular to a central facility where the events can be reviewed by professionals. While one main sales demographic is parents of teen drivers, some insurance companies are giving discounts if the service is used and some fleet operators (like the bus company) use it to help figure out what happens in "mysterious" accidents.

I found the company when I was looking at developing my own system for personal use (gps, video, cellular) and wondered if there was something commercial out there already that would fit the bill. If I had the system, I would have already been able to archive one injury accident where I was just a few cars away.

Yeah, I just said that because I thought the post title was misogynistic. Pretty immature, eh?

Sorry.

Yep. And, you'd probably be surprised to know how many guys think that way.
OTOH, there's a concrete company here which caught some flak when it appeared they were giving preferential treatment to female driver applicants. Seems they felt female drivers were more safety minded. So, it isn't universal.

Well, I think that's wrong. Doesn't everybody? People should be awarded jobs based on experience, skills, training, education, blah, blah, blah....

Gender, one of the few factors of ourselves over which we have no control should not be something to judge us either way. JMO, ya know.

uh oh - getting political... pls don't ban me. Back to topic -- It was an entertaining video, really!
