Water as gas? - Is this useful?

Sorry, I just don't know where to post this...

I found this site: runyourcarforfree.com, it is about using water as gas. I have plans to buy one and have questions about this product.
Is this useful? Or does it worth the price? DO you know somebody who's using this, and was he satisfied? Just making sure if it is really useful before buying one.Thanks.

Unless you've researched the technology and already know what you cannot get from this approach, it's snake oil.

There is no "free" ride with electrolyzing water. Using electricity to split water into H2 and O2 then burning the result as fuel is so inefficient it's silly.

There's a possibility other factors could improve some engines performance but the possibilities are small. There have been a very few people on this board interested in the technology but there have been no reports of actual success yet.

There are a few threads already on the subject which you might find with a google search for
site:smartcarofamerica.com hydrogen

you will get about the same amount of opinions that this will work as those who say it won't work. All I can say is that with my limited testing on a unit I built, it would be difficult to run a car on the amount of hydrogen and parahydrogen from electrolysis using ONLY water. The cell would have to be quite large.

As a fuel additive, it may have some promises but the building and maintaining of the cell might be just as expensive as the gas it is replacing. That and the problem of water freezing in the winter time makes things even more difficult.

Not saying it is impossible but it is definatley not FREE

Maybe that should be "Deja View" instead; the feeling you've read about something somewhere before?

Great photo; now when you're asked "is it electric?" you can say "no, it runs on water."
