What's Your 'Take' on New TV Shows this Season?

With many new TV shows appearing for the first time 'this season' (wonder when the 'season' changed?), I was wondering what everyone thought of some of the new shows?

Do you recommend we watch any OR do you recommend we don't look or we'll be turned to stone ?

My favorite new show is "Leverage" on TNT with Timothy Hutton. Keeps your attention and there's always a 'twist' at the end so that their mission is accomplished.

I am heart broken that Battlestar Gallactica is coming to an end. I don't know what I'm going to watch now.

Meet the new season, same as the old season. About 95% garbage, 3% OK, maybe 2% better than OK. Based on most of the shows on right now, no, we're not smarter than a fifth grader.

I've stopped watching network tv (almost) altogether. It seems every year I would start to like some obscure, interesting program that might have potential to grow into something really fine and then it just disappears!

I'm sick to death of House and CSI - fine shows, but they are getting repetitive.

But, you've inspired me and I've just programmed "Leverage" for a try. And there's one on today at 1:00!

I don't have a TV, but I catch the occasional show online. I like offbeat shows like "Life" on NBC and Pushing Daisies, whch ABC recently dropped.

Mentalist on CBS on Tuesday nights

Favorite Second season show is Chuck but I never seem to catch it durring broadcast so it's my favorite show on the Web.

I do find Time Warp interesting but am always annoys they don't actualy let me see what happens enough.

I guss I should give a mention to Worst Week. It was painfull to watch because I have trouble watching folks in embaresing situations.

But since it featured 2 Smarts in the episode the Gift

Worst Week - American version, not so good. British version, 10 times better IMHO (as are most originals)

Dexter - can't get any better; Brotherhood, a close second

Gone but not forgotten: Sopranos, Oz, Deadwood, The Wire, Six Feet Under, Rome

Classic network cop show - Homicide, Life on the Street
