Has Tesla actually produced and sold any cars yet? I know they have a bunch of deposits and reservations but has one hit the street yet? Why does an upstart company need two offices, 2000 miles apart?
...in their last TV interview Tesla officials admitted to their failure to understand how an automobile works and they set up to hire Detroit workers to address the issue...
...only the elites can afford a Tesla...at over 100k each this fast car is not for the masses...feel really bad for the people that lost their job but for Tesla and Tesla Auto Co....well...phuck'em

Yes they have produced and sold about 30 I believe (If I remember correctly from what the rep told me). I visited their store in LA a couple weeks ago. They have plenty of business.
...yes they have plenty of business or better yet re-work...they are having serious issues with everything related to suspension/steering/brakes....they may be the Yugo of the electric cars..
Can't remember where I saw this, but apparently the original Tesla group was convinced they could produce this car without hiring anyone from the auto industry. New technology, new approach sort of thing. Now they're pretty far into it and have realized that not just anyone can produce and market a car, so they're playing catch up while they try and deal with the issues mentioned above.
