Correction, the Chevy Aveo is made in South Korea.

Edit: My photo didn't attach... I'll just use the old method...

OIC. I am trying it with the ugly new 'SmartCarForum' skin now, and I see a drop box. Looks like it will work if you can tolerate that ugly skin. I can't. Fortunately I have no need for the function.

It's a good thing for those who do though.

EDIT: Wait, it still didn't work right for me. The thumbnail is my avatar, but it links to the picture I dropped in.

POST EDIT: When I went back to the only usable skin (SCoriginal) the thumbnail is correct. Maybe if I'd just reloaded the page it would've been corrected.

On the other hand, I've never had any trouble posting pictures the old way. Hope someone will explain this ...
Can you grab me a screen shot of the error, what browser and device?

You are still able to post images the old way by scrolling down to manage attachments.

Firefox 30.0, Win7 Home Premium on a desktop.
I could. But, the function seems to work ok with y'all's ugly new skin. So, no problem for those who are using that skin.

I've never had any problem posting pictures. Thanks.

Now, if we could reliably embed YouTube videos ... that would be a biggie.

So it only works with the new Smart Car Forum skin and not the SCoriginal skin?

That's the way it appears to me jwight.

I was just checking it out of curiosity though (gotta watch that).

Here's the result I get with SCoriginal ...
Error message upon failure to post, "The text that you have entered is too long (140227 characters). Please shorten it to 50000 characters long."

The following is shown in the composition window where the image should be,

But you'll see a drop box below the composition window in the new skin. That works.

@jwight

Correct - it does not look like we will be able to make it work in the Legacy skin. It is one of the cool improvements that we can roll out with the new skins across our networks.

The Legacy skin is to help transition user to the new options/skin while giving them a way to use the older version to fall back on.

Thanks for the understanding and more new features to come.

Okay, so this thing isn't working for me anymore. It won't let me upload the same picture more than once!!!!

I uploaded a picture of the C453 and posted it in one thread, but when I tried to upload it to a different thread, the board ate it up and did nothing with it.

I dragged, I dropped, but as soon as the "Upload Progress" bar reached 100%, the picture just disappeared. ???

I can't even screenshot it as it just goes back to blank like nothing happened.

For example: Now that I've uploaded these three Avatars to this thread, I won't be able to post them anywhere else on SCoA.

Confirmed on my end also, I will open a ticket.

Standby for a fix.
