Want the 4 door really bad

smart really needs to offer this here. Their missing the market. This little car would sell like hot cakes. Chevy proved that with the city car the spark

Well, I don't really think of the Spark as a "City Car" and it is cheap (technologically) compared with the 453 smart. It sells because it is a Chevy and because it is cheap transportation. Lots of small 4 door competitors in the market that would make it difficult for the 4 door smart to sell well.

No.... they're not really missing a market. They just don't seem to have much interest in trying to fill an already over-saturated market. Between Fiat 500's (and all their outcroppings), Nissan Versa Note's, Chevy Sparks, Honda CR-Z/Fit, Toyota Prius C/Yaris, Ford Fiesta/C-Max.... there's already plenty of options that people are well aware of, and almost certainly with a dealership MUCH closer to them. Smart's are unique. Why would someone who hardly knows the brand look into getting a 4-seater Smart and potentially have to drive for an hour or more to the dealership when they could probably go just down the street and get a Spark or something similar?

I know this is irrelevant. But, whenever I see a Spark, and see an exhaust pipe, I can't help but think someone wasn't thinking at Chevy. Isn't that a natural for an EV?

Sorry... didn't get what you were getting at at first....

But anything could be an EV if you think about it.

But, seriously, My wording included "tail pipe". I just figured with a name like "Spark", it should be an EV. As someone pointed out, anything can be an EV. I wouldn't own one, but you could make a Lincoln Navigator an EV.
