Same one I went to. Same price.

Smart Tysons Corner wanted to charge $260.

Shop rates

The going shop rate for most dealers (Chevy, VW, Audi) is about $100 to $125 per hour. I think $210 for a 10,000 mile sercive is great. My Oil change on my Dodge Caliber is $50 every 3,000 miles and thats all I get.
Smart goes through the whole car at your service. With the car being as new as it is and made my Benz. I think I'll stick with the place that knows the car. The $20 oil change somewhere else could cost you hundreds in the long run

I disagree, I think anyone can do their own oil change and use the smart filter and Mobil 1 0W-40 and get that done for under $50 and take less than an hour to do. Then go to the Smart Center and get the 10K service minus the oil change. It will save people $130.

I've NEVER seen a dealer scheduled service anywhere near as complete as what was done to the police cruisers I drove, and it took the city mechanics all of 45 minutes to do it. Anyone who tells you it'll take more than that to do a smart car is padding the bill.

If you're paying $50 for a $17.95 oil change on your Caliber, don't expect us to take your judgement about the 10,000 mile smart service toooo seriously.

Did my cabin air filter change last week, $14 filter from Amazon.com, labor-2 minutes and free! Oil change next week. Mobile 1 from Costco @ $6/qt, Bosch full synthetic filter from Schucks - $4, labor (me) 10 minutes, free. Check all fluids, tire wear, wiper condition, 10 more minutes, free!

Total cost for 10,000 mile service ~ $39.

$171 saved... PRICELESS!

The oil comes out a lot slower than a normal car. Not sure why bit it was still running out after 30 min. I did my own oil change, so the 10K check was no charge including doing the needed upgrades.

If you didn't, next time remove the filler cap prior to removing the drain plug. (eliminates partial airlock)

Just had my 10,000 mile service @ smart Center Chandler. Out the door for $182.00. Also got the new software, battery, VIN and handbook. Took about 2 hours.

I was quoted $140 for just an oil change at Smart Center Easton (Columbus Ohio), $288 for the 10,000 mile service. (I thought about getting the oil changed early).

Doesn't Smart Corporate check into this sort of gouging? I have heard that they clamped down on a dealer in Ohio who was adding after-market equipment. Surely somebody there knows about this sort of thing.
