I got my brakes checked by the dealer at around 9,000 miles because the rear were squeaking, so I don't need them checked out again. Plus my oil was changed 5k miles ago. I reset the wrench light myself.
Is the only other thing left to this service maintenance a simple cabin filter that you are talking about with charcoal? Or is there something more to it, because my dealer wants to charge me $144 to do the service (which doesn't include the oil change since I just had that done...it's $240 here with the oil change).
So is all I need to do is get an air filter for the cabin to complete the 10k service? (which seems kinda unnecessary to change a cabin air filter at 10k miles)

THis was news to me, the original was just a paper filter. The new Cabin filter was a much better with Charcoal. THe showed me the difference while he was changing it and it was a much beefyer filter.
Also got my 2.0 upgrade including new Battery.
+ the time I was able to pick his brain about other things was great.
Would I pay close to $300 for this service? Most Likely not.
