1st gear clicking

everytime i launch my car from the park position, my 1st. gear always makes a clicking sound, when i shift to second and then on, and eventually have to stop at a light or something, and the car shifts back to fist, and i launch from fist again the clicking is gone. it only clicks when moving from parked gear. is this normal?

If what you're describing is a short series of vibrations felt when first driving off after starting the car, that's a normal test function of the ABS system.

okay, maybe your are right, because a few days ago while driving on ice i was hearing the clicking/vibrations alot.

The ABS self tests the first time the car reaches 8mph, and feels like 6 or 8 clicks in the front left wheel. At 10mph the doors lock.

The ABS and/or ESP will also click a few seconds over a traction-affecting bump even if the warning triangle doesn't come on.
