Got 27,742 no oil leak's here!

Where is it coming from? filter, and oil drain plug would be easy to check,

Mitsu engines' I have had in the past, Leaked next to the cam seal, or on the valve cover. Easy fixes.

You're getting a whole new engine????? I wonder if I should consider extended warranty now beyond 24k/2 years this can happen. I would hate to have engine barf on me and be out of warranty.

22k here. No leaks.

Would be good, but there is no real extended warranty. I'll bet one would have to arm wrestle the carrier for months to get them to come up with an engine for an oil leak. A2Jack.

That was from September of last year; no follow up or comment from the OP since then. Wonder if the engine was actually replaced.

Look back at first page it's SIVARTE's fault he brought the dead thread back to life. I got to start watching those time stamps.

They not replace the engine

They replace the oil pan gasket and I got a free oil change , That was at 5000 miles now close to 9000 no leaks.

Thanks for the update; glad it was nothing more serious than a leaking gasket.
