451 lower windshield molding removal

I've been taking my car apart a bit at a time and this weekend I removed the lower windshield molding.

After the hood comes off you need to remove the 13mm nuts that hold the wiper arms by pushing, pulling and wiggling them. They eventually pop and come off. You do not need super force, just the right combination of the above motions.
There are the 6 screws you can see on the molding but you also need to pull the antenna and the triangles (evolution has that routine but it mostly involves pulling the stem out of the plug and then the rest of the plug.) the screw behind them and the body bolt there too.
After removing the body bolts at the upper top of the hood, everything bends enough to get the black trim piece out.
I found the hard part is getting the wiper arm nuts back on. The next time I'll try doing it before installing any of the screws on the trim. Use a small, long screwdriver to slide the nut down to the stem, then you're on your own starting the threads.

Why, may I ask, are you dismantling your smart?

Say, are you one of those guys who eat cars?

I thought that here in TECHNICAL would be as good as any.
That way anyone else could add to it as they did the same.
I'd suggest keeping the titles in a similar format for searching ease.

I don't eat cars... normally.

I'm making a carbon hood and needed to get the attachment right so removing that trim made it easy to see in there. That's why I took it off.
