Waaait a minute; I'm trying to compute that: 37 hours from DC to LA? Alex Roy (
Alex Roy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ) and his co-driver accomplished that route in 31 hours and they had a general aviation buddy flying overhead checking for Five-oh.
How did you manage to come within 6 hours of a BMW M5 doing 160MPH?

Not for nothing, but I tried assaulting the Northern Route (started from Monterey,Ca to NJ via I-80) in an M3 back in '99 and the best I could do was 67 hours with two 4 hour naps; and we're talking foot to the floor through Nevada for 2 hours tank fulls.
*Seriously; if you can help a brother out with some overlooked time savers; I'm standing here with a pad and pencil...
