Air/Oil filters from Smart Pitstop?

Has anyone tried buying from smartpitstop.com yet? My wrench icon recently came on so after reading around I've become interested in doing my own oil and air filter changes. They sell either part separately, or as a pair here: smartPitStop

Just wondering if anyone knows what the quality of these are like. I know at least the oil filter looks identical expect for the logo on the front. As for the air filter, I can't really tell... is the one pictured for the engine or the cabin?

Oh also, the tech at Smart Center Seattle told me that when you change the oil filter you need some kind of "crush washer" seal type dealy. Does anyone know if there's anyway to buy aftermarket versions of these? (just to save me a trip to the dealer, which is only a 17 minute drive, but quite out of the way)

Looks like OEM oil filter with smart part number and engine air filter. Have not tried them yet.

It's not a crush washer as far as I can tell. I was also reassured when my dealer said he'd be happy to sell me another but it wasn't necessary. As with BabyBenz, mine has been reused 3 times with out any leaks.
