Annoying squeak in cabriolet roof

I have a 2009 cabriolet that has had an annoying squeak on the drivers side. It seems to happen with the roof up. I think it might becoming from the cross bar above the door that the top slides through. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has a cure?

I have an '08 cabriolet and recently I've heard this noise too, I remedied it by turning the music way up. Now I don't hear anything! lol No, not really the noise went away after I had the top down another couple of times. Maybe it was just sitting funny?

I too have a squeek/rattle the same as this on my 2009 cabrio. Occurs roof up or down. Will ask dealer about it tomorrow.

Same here. Haven't even had the car for a week yet. I know exactly where it is coming from. The rear mount for the removable beam on the driver's side. Let me know if you come up with a solution.

I'm pretty sure that it's the window hitting the plastic/rubber on the removable bracket/thingy.

Roll the window down a little and it's gone in mine... just noticed it and mine's was purchased in 2/08 and not garaged in winter.

Put a little spray silicon on and rub it in really well on all of the rubber mating surfaces. This should get rid of the squeeks

I have just got my Brabus cabrio and noticed the exact same thing on my way home after just getting the car. It seems to be just to the left of my head or just about where the headrest is where the roof beam snaps in. I don't hear it on the passenger side. I do have some silicon so I will see if I can take care of it.
