Auto-lock feature** ?

If I do not press the "lock" button, my doors do not lock when I begin to drive, and I even looked it up in the owner's manual and it says that they do lock automatically at about 8mph.

I seem to recall that it DID do this at first, but not now...

any thoughts?

make shure your doors and tailgate are all shut properly if not you don't get the lock.

I will certainly check that, but I have opened the doors and tailgate numerous times - AFAIK, they are closed properly; there isnt a "door ajar" light on...

Along with Karl's advice: Page 84 of the owners manual has the procedure to enable/disable the "Drive Lock" function.

Drive lock can be enabled (comes this way) or disabled. See page 84 of your owners manual.

edit: oops, pointer to manual already posted.

I shut a the strap to a bag into the tailgate on mine and it would not auto lock until I found it and it took a few minutes to figure this out. Getting old is not for Sissy's.
let us know what you find

I looked at page 84 and enabled it. I wonder how it got un-enabled?

Anyways, I did refer to the manual when I first experienced the issue, but I looked at page 85, not page 84!!

it is auto-locking now! Thanks all!!
