Have you talked to the dealer about your issue?

Am I right in thinking that if you leave your keys in the car it will lock you out in 60 seconds?

The 'relock' occurs when you unlock the car with the key fob, but then get distracted or whatever & DON'T open a door or whatever before the 60 seconds is up, then it relocks the car automatically! Then SOMETIMES, like with ME a few minutes ago, you bend over with the key fob in your pocket, and something else in your pocket presses against the RED button, and ..............well, you know what happens then!!

I just now disabled mine; I leave my key in the switch and it aggravates me when I pull in garage, get out to open tailgate: oh crips, now go back inside & hit "unlock" button..... When you get my age it don't take much to aggravate. ha.

Same way with "reading the handbook" as someone suggested...even if I read all 320 pages, not sure I'd retain a fraction of it. Sure am learning a lot on this forum tho.
