After I purchased an oil filter at the dealer I stopped by Auto Zone for some Mobil 1 and thought to check for oil/air filters. To my surprise they had a Bosch for $6.99 and a Mobil 1 for $12.99, both cheaper than the OEM. I am not one who thinks the OEM filter is better then Mobil 1 filters and you will save a couple dollars. No air filter or spark plugs yet.
lol well I don't kno how to do it. With my Chevy Aveo I always went to Walmart but idk where to go or do now so i guess i need to learn to do this junk on my own.
Chobocobo, the smart is quite possibly the easiest oil change I've ever done, and I've done oil changes on over 20 vehicles. Takes about 15 minutes, doesn't require the car be jacked up. So simple.

Yeah, don't be worried about trying to do it yourself, you can do it if you are physically able and have a place to do it. But don't forget to have the correct tools for the job(only a few items to buy and keep) and disposing of the old oil and filter afterward(not hard).
The Mobil 1 filter and the STP filters sold at AutoZone are made by Champion labs, compare them side by side and you will be amazed. Champion also makes the Tech line of filters available at Walmart.

How much do you want to pay for what amounts to pretty much the same filter:
Tech 2.99
STP 4.99
Mobil 1 11.99
K&N 14.99
There may be minute differences in filtering capabilities but not enough to make much difference.
The AC Delco is the same part as the STP filter right down to the color.
I've now used all of them and the oil is no dirtier at the change with one than the other. I change my oil every 6k and use Valvolene Syn 5w-30. 99% of my miles are freeway in Chicagoland.
