Crew

We need a flag crew to pop out of the boot and stop crossing traffic.

Seriously, I have had a few close calls too. I don't pull in to a parking space all the way forward. More than once, I've seen "impatient" drivers try to get into what they believe is an empty spot only to find out that it's not empty!

I have been thinking - the ideal back up beeper would have some sort of volume control wired into it.
So you could vary the volume.
I bought a cheap one at an auto parts store, kept it in the trunk of my car, when I was finally ready to wire it in my car, it was broken.
If someone out there finds a quality back up beeper, please post up the part number, and where you found it.

Billo came close with the rear camera and a video switch. I would like a 3 camera switched array aimed looking to the left, 1 to the rear and one looking to the right, preferably mounted in the high mount brake light lens. You could switch to take a peek to the left and to the right before backing out. My cabrio with it's small rear view window and the ever present tridion superstructure is a bear to see out of and is a problem for me with the top down if a short statured car is following closely. I would also like a yellow caution lamp to illuminnnate with clutch activation and or deceleration like on some large busses. People follow too closely and don't give us a chance to get rolling and into second gear where we can get some serious speed. I hate that!

Years ago for a joke I put one in the tour pack of my Harley and hooked it up to an unused switch. At least when I backed up to park, people got out of my way! Wal Mart had a small one that I think was just stuck on the outside of the back up lights, but I never heard what they sound like.

I am waiting for an LED version backup beeper/light

Howdy all.
FYI, the "plug & play" back up/beeper light combo should work in our smart(s)?
What I am REALLY interested in is an LED version?!?!?!
I have LED reverse lights, and personally find them much brighter than OEM?
I would swap one out for an LED light/beeper combo in a heartbeat.
