i had it happen one or two times as well...... my feeling is it has to do with the key (ignition lock assembly) still thinks the key is in ignition, when it is not,,,,and is related to having headlamps on.. dont think its a "sequence" issue as much as a random "ignition lock/tumbler" thing... (something not returning or sticking inside)

just a gut feeling

Mine has been doing this all day...

Continuous beeping?

I just got my car back from the collusion center and this morning when I pulled out of the driveway the car started beeping. I pulled over and tried to figure it out-still beeping no lights showing. I pulled back into the driveway and finally turned off the car and turned it on-still beeping. Finally I turned off car AND took the key out. This time it did not beep anymore. Could it be a short in wiring disturbed by repairs done. It was only door repair.
Sure would like to know what might have caused the beeping and if it is somethink I should be concerned about.
