I had my oil changed by my smart center. I don't know what specifically was used (only "75W90" at $9.74 per qt), though they did have Mobil 1 on the parts shelf. If anything goes awry, they did it not me.

jetfuel...just curious

2009 Passion at 6.3K, 2.3Q of Royal Purple (60 bloody dollars???)

OEM fluid had metallic sheen, no large particles, funny chemical smell. Clean (new) pan, powerfull rare earth magnet from a server hard drive, nothing stuck. Assume particles aluminum, bronze/brass or SS?

Trans does shift smoother and is more quiet.

I agree, 2,800 miles on mine I changed engine oil and tranny oil. Oil in drain pan had a silvery brass sheen to it. Royal purple is the stuff though, I can barely hear or feel the tranny. Thankfully I had a 10.00 dollar off Autozone coupon : ) Walmart didn't carry it : (
