Broken Headlights! Please Help!

Hi guys, I'm a noob here. I have a 2005 Passion FourTwo Coupe. Between pheasants and rocks, I have broken both external glass panels. The lights inside work but I want to replace the glass. Do I have to buy an entire headlight assembly (x2!) or can the external glass "shield" be replaced? Finally, I have been unable to find anyplace that sells either. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! is yours a G&K converted version, or one you got through Canada. G&K changed out the whole headlight assembly for their own (no glass up front, gray plastic surrounding the lamps). smarts had a glass cover over the assembly.

If you have the smart kind, try contacting a Canadian dealership.

Thx! I bought it out of Reno, NV but the cover is definitely glass. Ay Canadian sites you recommend?

I have been away for awhile but was reading your reply. My car is one of the G & K conversions that has the grey plastic surround headlights. Any idea where I might get a replacement? Thanks in advance! Mat

p.s. I'll be paricipating in the 2008 BullRun road rally in my Smart leaving Calgary on June 21! I'm pretty sure I'm the only one driving a car that costs less than the entrance fee!
