Just took delivery of a used 2005 Smart 42 here in Canada the other week. Suddenly the a/c is just blowing warm air. I picked up a can of a/c stop leak and am wondering where it hooks to. It's easily accessable in a "normal" car.
Agreed. Those stop-leak products (coolant, transmission, etc) are all bad news. They tend to cause more damage than they repair - clogging up cores and eating away at plastics.
Take your car to a dealer and they can diagnose your A/C problem easily. If the leak isn't obvious, they will usually add die to track it down.
