J500ANT from the UK forums has discovered something that people need to be aware of and we need to discover what cars do it and what cars don't as it is a security issue. 451 Coupe only as far as I can see.
Go to your car, make sure it's locked by pressing the lock button.
Test the doors and rear hatch are locked.
Press and hold the trunk release button so the glass hatch unlatches.
Close the hatch again.
Now try to open the hatch again using the trunk handle.
On my late 2007 451 the handle doesn't open the hatch as you would expect but on Tony's 2009 451 the handle still operates the hatch opening.
Let us know if yours opens or stays locked and the date of the car.
If yours still opens, you'll have to remember to press the lock button on the fob before leaving your car. The autolock will not kick in and relock the hatch.

Interesting - mine has been operating as a single event to unlock the hatch, but I don't know if I've checked it since the 2.0 upgrade. If a newer model is leaving the hatch unlocked until the lock button is depressed, I'm going to make sure isn't a software change that could be in 2.0. Will report back.
Checked last night and my unlock is a single event. When it closes, the latch release won't re-open it until the car or hatch is unlocked again. Others have already added that this is their experience too.
I wouldn't have considered that a problem. If I open a door, I expect to use the key fob to relock once I'm done. Why would opening the glass be different? I guess I'm glad for the coupe owners who don't have the hatch left "unlocked" after opening it with the fob, but - with the exception of the "unlock" part - isn't the fob key and the trunk handle button supposed to perform the same function? If the car's unlocked, the glass opens.
What happens if Tony presses the lock button on the fob after opening and closing the glass? Is the glass accessible?
