I was having major problems. The temperature went to 70 today and it took 10 minutes. Ambient temp makes a difference.

It took me about 3 minutes to install my K&N filter. But then, I have done the "50 cent" mod already and removed the dampners. Hose is a LOT easier to work with now.

This shows the inner tube and hose clamps used to seal the cut/broken pipe coming from the air filter box. Future filter changes are then easy after removing the additional clamps shown. Bending or twisting of the parts is then not required when removing the air filter housing top for filter replacement/cleaning.

You can buy at Home Depot that does the same thing if you don't have a bicycle inner tube....it's called a "FernCo Coupling" and it can be found in the Plumbing isle at either Home Depot or Lowe's.
