Chipping paint

Our main road here also houses a rock quarry and due to that, I have been getting quite a few chips in the front of my smart. They aren't terribly deap, but, like I said, there are quite of few of them. And although, individually, they aren't noticable, but, with the amount of them, it's looking pretty bad. Any suggestions on how to get rid/cover them? Does the Mother's Clay Bar take care of something like this? Yes, I know, not following too close will help further damage, but, those darn little stones seem to bounce forever when they are coming off of that truck that is going 60 mph!

from your avatar, looks like your smart is black. that means you've chiped the plastic, not just the clear coat. My white smart is the same way. The stubby little nose takes one heck of a beating. No cure, just be thankful it's molded in color, and plastic.... no rust. Only cure is to buy a new service hatch. They run about $150, still cheaper than a re-paint!

Hmmm, I was afraid of that. Perhaps I will have to wait until we move to San Antonio to get rid of Bruno's "Acne". Thanks for the help.

Black Car Wax ~ black cars is that they show even small dings, chips, nicks, marks, swirls and other imperfections, as you probably already know.
