Another source for Plexus is an Aircraft/Pilot's supply store at your local small airport (if you have one). Found some there for less than the manufacturer is selling it.

Plexus is always carried at motorcycle dealerships. stop by a honda/kawasaki/yamaha dealership and you should be able to pick some up.

I just ordered some Plexus, as I found a small, imperceptible scratch on my roof that shines when the shade is open and the light catches it.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the Plexus can be used on the painted (mine's red) body panels as well? A lot of vendors of Plexus say that it can, anyone have knowledge? I'd love to have a no-bucket-and-hose-required method of cleaning lil smartie...

The #1 enemy of paint finishes is abrasion. Whenever I wash my car, the hose is going constantly wherever I'm rubbing. The less your sponge rubs dirt against your paint, the better your finish will stay. I even pre-soak my car. To dry it, I use a special car drying squeege to avoid excess towel rubbing on the finish. I believe good washing is more about technique than product. First, do no damage... THEN enhance.

Wax On **- Wax Off?

I am still confused....do I wax or don't I? If so, should I use the Mother's Carnuba all over?

Here's what I do and am very pleased with the results. I use Black Magic (Consumers Reports said it was excellent) on the plastic panels and also on the polycarbonate top. It's a liquid wax and available at WalMart, etc. For the black panel just below the windshield washers I use Black Chrome by Turtle Wax. It has a touch of black color to it and it makes that particular part of the car stand out when you buff it out.

I love Plexus . I've been using for years on ALL surfaces of my motorcycles. It works great and is durable. Go ahead, use it wherever you like .

I also highly recommend Black Chrome for all exterior trim.

I once made a race car body of Lexan and the nose was bent into a curve and stressed.
The sign painter came to letter it and when he touched the car's nose with a rag soaked in toluene, it crazed and started cracking!
I would not use toluene on a smart.

My Plexus arrived, and it does a great, streak-free job! Even on the glass, but it is a bit $$$ to use as a glass cleaner!!

Hee hee I also mounted the Actual Size sticker on the lower right of my rear window;)
