I leave the auto lights on all the time; have had no problems with the battery drain issue, but my car is my daily driver and I don't leave it unused for any length of time. The only thing I don't like about the auto lights is that they stay on at night if I'm parked/idling and waiting; sometimes I like to be in stealth mode. I still remember how to reach up and turn off lights, however, so it's not too much of a hardship!

I thought I would hate the auto wipers but they're one of my favorite features.

Heated leather seats: priceless.

I put my lights on as soon as I get in the car. LIGHTS ON FOR SAFETY. I want people to see me. I wish they came on automatically whenever the car is started. I leave the wipers in auto mode. That rain sensor is so smart.

Love the comfort package. The rain-sensor wipers are so sweet. Don't have to worry about car washes since lil' blue is only hand washed. The auto-lights are a no-brainer. The heated seats are a must have for winter. As someone else previously said - it worth every penny.

Merry Christmas!

I use my auto lights and auto wipers. The auto lights seem to work the way they should (for the most part) at times the auto lights will turn on durning light time hours (for some odd reason.) The wipers sometimes have to be turned off and/or on manually at times. But I am happy with both. Heated seats a must here in winter michigan!

Comfort Package: Auto Lights: On, Auto Wipers: Off

I purchased the Comfort Package for the leather-heated seats. I also was thinking... 'for such a small car, I need all the comfort I can get.'
The auto wipers I leave off because sometimes they need an Exorcist. They kick-on full speed on light drizzle, pause excessively long on rainy days... I wish I could just have a good old-fashion intermittent wiper setting.
The auto lights I leave on. Sure they sometimes stay on during the day... but that's alright. Better to be seen. It's also handy when entering my garage or a tunnel. When I'm going to be gone a few days, I make sure they're off so I don't drain the battery.

Comfort package is worth the price for the heated leather alone. Add in the power steering and its a great deal. I leave the lights on auto because, well, theyre automatic! Most of the GM cars I've owned had auto lights so I like them. I do turn the wipers off though. If I leave it in auto, sometimes when I get back in the car, even if its still raining, they wont cycle. I have to turn them off then back to auto. I'm not sold on the auto wipers anyway. Sometimes in a heavy rain, they go slow and sometimes with just a mist, they are on high. Might ask to have the sensor replaced but would be just as happy with an adjustable intermittent option

I have the comfort package also and love it. I am old-fashioned and leave nothing in auto mode unless it's being used - so, I turn on my lights always to be seen and turn them off when I'm done driving. I don't need to drive my little smart everyday, so I don't leave things on. The windshield wipers I turn on to auto when it's raining and they are just smart! As Lorbeer TLC said, sometimes they need the exorcist, but changing their instruction momentarily seems to reset them to normal. Love the heated seats - although in CA we don't get to use them as much as the colder parts of the country! Leather seats? I can take them or leave them. Good luck!
